PP Fume Hood With Scrubber System
The PP fume hood with scrubber system is an integrated safety device for treating highly corrosive, acidic/alkaline waste gases in laboratories.
I. Core Definitions
• PP Fume Hood
• Scrubber System
II. Workflow (Complete Purification Chain)
1. Gas Collection: Acid mist/exhaust gas generated in the experiment is drawn into the fume hood under negative pressure.
2. Scrubbing: Exhaust gas enters the scrubbing tower and comes into countercurrent contact with the spray liquid (such as NaOH, water).
3. Reaction: Acidic gases are neutralized, and particulate matter is captured (efficiency). >90%)
4. Demisting: Gas is dehydrated by the demister to prevent the carry-over of liquid droplets.
5. Discharge: Clean air is discharged by a fan; waste liquid is recycled or treated before discharge.
III. Standard Configuration (Integrated)
• Cabinet: Welded with corrosion-resistant PP board, resistant to strong acids/alkalis/organic solvents
• Washing Module:
1. Spray nozzles (multi-layer/dual-path)
2. Packing layer (Pall rings/Raschig rings)
3. Circulating water pump + water tank
4. Demister
5. Online pH monitoring + Automatic Dosing
6. Low Water Level Audible and Visual Alarm
• Control: Touch panel, VAV variable air volume, air speed monitoring
IV. Applicable Scenarios
•Highly corrosive experiments: HCl, HNO₃, H₂SO₄, HF, strong alkalis, chlorine, bromine, etc.
•Chemical synthesis, analysis, microelectronics, pharmaceutical, electroplating laboratories
•Places requiring zero pollution emissions and strict environmental protection standards
V. Advantages
1. PP material: Lifetime corrosion-resistant and rust-free
VI. Common Specifications (Width × Depth × Height mm)
•W 1200× D850× H2350mm
•W 1500× D850× H2350mm
•W 1800× D850× H2350mm
